Cherry Hill Park
We arrived at Denali and checked into our campground which is a parking lot behind a strip of stores. It is all gravel and we have to search to find a few blades of grass for poor Ziggy. By noon Denali, the mountain, is socked in by clouds even though the sun is shining. We took a ride to look for wildlife and were not too successful. Saw the back end of a moose and some gulls. The moose had an amazing rack which was probably five feet across, but he would not turn around. The gull had three fuzzy babies and they were adorable. Hopefully I will see more on the eight hour bus ride into the park tomorrow. The bus leaves at 6:30 am and my lunch and snacks are packed. The song title is one I had never heard as a teen, but a favorite on Sirius and we must have heard it twenty times on the ride out.
