A perfect weather day to visit Seldovia. On the boat ride over we circled Gull Island. We were here last trip and saw the tiny island that is home to thousands of gulls, cormorants and other sea birds. It also smells like thousands of birds live there and is covered with bird poo - gotta love nature. We passed lots more teeny islands and the one pictured looks like an elephant. Next we saw an oystercatcher on the beach and now I am excited. I think the duck is a surf scoter and we see so many otters and many have babies on their chests. Can you see the tiny baby face?
