After 69 gravel areas (they are numbered) and more endless vistas we arrive at the US border and breeze through. A mandatory stop at the "welcome to Alaska" sign for picture taking and then a brief stop at the visitor center of the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge covers most of this area and is full of lakes and meadows and provides sanctuary for migrating waterfowl. Got to our campground, washed the RV and car, made dinner, watched Harry Potter movie 3 and went to sleep. A very long day with 240 miles of rough road.
