Bye Bye Birdie

Birds and eagles can fill this entire blog. The first pictures are taken at the beach below our campground. I have to identify the cute little brown bird. The eagle was peacefully sitting on a rock when a gull flew by and annoyed him. He opened his mouth and screamed at the gull, but never moved from his perch. As you drive towards the "Spit" there was a large nest with two baby eaglets. One was quite a ham and kept flapping his wings preparing to fly. It was quite the spot in town and there was always lots of folks visiting and taking pictures. I spent our last day in Homer doing chores like laundry and grocery shopping. Jeff took our group on a city tour and they visited a nature center.
