Light My Fire

Shoulders on the roads - "We don't need no stinkin' shoulders." As you can see this is a two lane road and the sides drop off into deep ravines. Oh, and the road isn't paved in most places, just packed stones. Lots of turns and twists and no passing so you drive slowly and carefully. Along the way we passed through acres and acres of burned forests. The trees stood like silent sentinels with their charred trunks. In the distance are snow capped mountains and pristine lakes are plentiful. There is little sign of civilization until you reach Jade City which is a shopping mecca. They mine jade here and create jewelry and other trinkets and have a large retail operation. Outside the large saws are slicing large chunks of jade.
