We arrived in Grande Prairie, Alberta and the sun is shining. Last time we were here we saw an amazing duck and we returned to Crystal Lake to see him again. The Ruddy Duck is in picture #2 with his amazing blue bill. The top photo is a Redhead, like me. It is actually rare and my bird book says there are only 600,000 left in North America. We enjoyed watching several American Coots with their chicks. Mom is feeding in photo #3 and the chicks hanging out. Click on the photos to enlarge.
