Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard

Today was our make up class. We met with profesora Tamara from 8 to 12 and then had lunch at Big Daddy's. It was so windy that we sat inside and enjoyed their delicious food. I had the Boom Boom Chicken Salad which is served in a taco shell. Jeff had a whole fried fish. Every meal here is a long, delightful repast. No rushing. It takes a while to cook and serve the meal and then you sit until you are ready to leave and ask for your check. It can take quite a while for the check to arrive too.If you want to eat quickly you had best go to a cafeteria. No fast food chains in Boquete.

We went hone to rest and then headed to David around 6:00. Brian was flying in from Panama City and his plane arrived at 6:45. It rained most of the day and we got back to Boquete and had a quick dinner at a cafeteria on the main street. Stewed chicken with rice and beans and salad. Then we headed home to get out of our wet clothes and catch up on news,
