Slept late, hung out and off to lunch and school. Another $6.00 special for the two of us including various choices of chicken or beef, rice with beans, and salad or vegetable. We are progressing nicely at school and learned future tense today. We have one more class left and that will be next Friday. A whole week to practice.
After school today we went to an opening reception for the Jazz Festival. It was art and music at the public library. Local artists were invited to create artworks or photographs depicting the festival or music in general. There were some very good pieces - lots of talent in this town.
This gal created this piece using bees wax and other media.
This is the third floor meeting area. There was food, sangria, music and good conversations.The library was built a few years ago by local donors and it is a gem.
There are books in Spanish and English, free computers with internet and a darling children's area.
