Cruisin' - 2

Part 2 - After all the excitement with the whales we headed for Ailik Glacier and watched it calf. Lots of ice came crashing down into the sea and then the huge roar would reach our ears. We went to an area full of Stellar Sea Lions and most were resting on the rocks after a hard days work catching fish. Also saw lots of puffins and murres floating in the water. The puffins are so funny when they fly. They are awkward and do a lot of flapping. When they land they stick their feet straight out and skid in.
The bottom picture is Jeff demonstrating his technique at skipping stones. Fox Island uas a rocky coast full of flat rocks that Jeff says are perfect for skipping.
