It just turned out this way that we are enjoying sitting and talking with Marty & Allan. We are relaxing on their shady patio and looking at a clear blue sky along with lunch and cool drinks. We learned to play a terrific game called Racko and finally decided to get dressed and go out to dinner. On the way we stopped to visit with John, Sylvia, Willy & Robby and see their new house while Robby entertained us with a piano solo.
We had requested to have dinner at George's in La Jolla. It is a favorite of Marty & Allan's and it was as pleasant as we remembered. You sit on a rooftop overlooking the Pacific with great food and better company. This is living! After dinner Allan drove us down to the "Children's Pool" where many sea lions sleep on the sand. It is fun to see them swim up and then find just the right spot to spend some time napping.
As if we hadn't eaten enough we stopped at a Marie Callender's to have some pie for dessert. Now I will roll myself into bed so I can get up early as we are going to the Wild Animal Park in the morning.
