Last week was Christmas in July and now it's Halloween in August. We had a great day doing Halloween crafts and tonight was our costume parade, trick or treating, and then the haunted house and forest. Jeff and I helped lead the kids around for the costume judging and then headed off for the scary stuff. The haunted house was full of smoke and strobe lights with costumed ghouls scaring those who walked through and many came out terrified. I was stationed at the exit to arrange guided walks through the woods. There was more scary stuff out there and Jeff was hidden in the trees and poised to frighten anyone foolish enough to walk by. It was fun and we get to do it all again next week.
