Next stop was Littleton where our friends told us they had pianos on the street. We have been to Chicago to see the Cows on Parade and we've also seen pigs, mermaids and teddy bears. This was way different as there were five pianos and a few guitars that are there to be played. Volunteers tune the instruments daily and we were told that not even one guitar string has been broken this year. We both got a chance to make some music and have a little fun. Another stop was Chutter's, a store with the longest candy counter in the world, according to the Guiness Book of World Records. There is actually a ruler along the counter and I am at the 112 foot marker. We were like two kids in a candy store, ha ha! We did get a few items like jelly bellies in amazing flavors.
Back to the campground with a grocery stop along the way and a quiet evening watching one of our favorite movies, The American President.
