One more stop at Rocky Gorge and then we arrived at the Lower Falls. This popular place is full of rocks for sunbathing and slides and rapids for the swimmers. Jeff remembered coming here with his summer camp way back in 1958 - boy is he old! We had a picnic lunch at a shaded table and then took our chairs out on the rocks to relax by the water. The fresh air and gentle breezes were delightful as we read and did crosswords and enjoyed a few idle hours.
Later we drove home, made dinner and watched movies all night. A great time!
