This Land is Your Land

More rain - will it ever stop? We have become used to grey, gloomy days and long for some sunshine. I drove the shuttle yesterday and then worked at the water slide. The kids just love that slide and come running when they see it going up. Last night we went out to dinner with a group of seven couples. Pretty good Italian food and pleasant conversation.

Wednesdays are devoted to the campfire and sing-a-long. We start at 1pm and prepare for the evening. Tonight we planned some patriotic songs and passed out small flags and kazoos that have been imprinted with the campground name. A nice souvenir for the guests. We had fun tonight singing This Land is Your Land and ended with America the Beautiful. Jeff led a conga line with kazoos and flags while we tooted I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy and It's a Grand Old Flag.
