We were off today and the weather was decent. After sleeping late we set off to the grocery store. There was bumper to bumper traffic in Warrensburg. First we stopped at Oscar's, a cute looking butcher shop with serious meats inside along with a crowd of shoppers. Next was the Grand Union and back to the campground. We decided to go tubing in the afternoon. The bus was crowded, but we were able to get onboard. The photo shows a family tubing last week, but you get the idea. The yellow school bus takes us one mile up the road to a public loading ramp. We get into the cool water with our tubes and float down to our sandy beach. Very serene and delightful. We spent the rest of the day hanging out and taking a walk. After dinner we made a fire and then it began to rain and it's still coming down at 11:30.
Time for bed!
