We have off today and both had appointments with a dentist. Jeff left South Carolina right after having a cavity filled and not sure if he would need further work. Yesterday my only crown fell out and needed to be put back. So we hung around all morning and then headed over to Warrensburg to a recommended dentist. Good news as the female dentist had a lovely office and was very efficient also. Jeff had an X-ray and was fine and my crown was glued back in quickly. Even better the office staff gave us several good tips for restaurants in the area.
As we drove through this small town we noticed that the motorcyclists were here too. The streets were lined with parked bikes and several tent areas were set up selling clothing and motorcycle stuff like patches and LED lights. We drove north about 9 miles to the tiny town of Chestertown where the office staff said they had the best ice cream parlor. Jeff and I found the place and sat at the counter and ordered hot fudge sundaes. This is living when you eat ice cream in the afternoon. The place was so cute and we had a nice talk with the waitress. Upstairs they had a lovely gift shop so we will return to try the food and do some browsing.
On the way home we stopped for groceries and then settled in for the evening. Right now we are watching the movie Best in Show which is hilarious.
