Ain't No Mountain High Enough....

We are off on Friday this week and slept ridiculously late. Finally got ourselves up and dressed after noon. We had lunch at a local place and headed north for fun and groceries. A guest had told us about a scenic road so we found it and had a beautiful drive. There were several lookouts with the first showing a panorama with our own Mount Chocorua. We have a tiny tripod that Jeff sat on the car hood so we could both be in the picture.

That's me pointing to Mt. Chocorua in the distance.  We drove on and the views from the other side of the road featured Mount Washington on the left side. At first we could see the weather observatory on top with the buildings and towers. Then some clouds moved in and obscured the top of the mountain.
