Bye Bye Birdie

Set out this morning at 6:30 with our bird club to search for the migrating boblink. At the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge we were lucky enough to see bobolinks with their golden patch at the back of their head and neck. My pictures aren't great, but a nice memory. The third photo shows two black-bellied whistling ducks. Next are two yellow-crowned night herons and finally a purple galinule. Of course there were many alligators, swallows, red winged black birds, ducks, egrets and herons. Always an adventure and so many beautiful animals to see and hear.
