AAAAAAAH!

We worked this morning on a warm humid day. We got off at 3:00 and went home to sit in a/c. After a nap I went outside to make dinner on the grill.

Lo and behold! Moderate temperatures, low humidity, clear sky. It was beautiful!

The past week has been one of record-breaking temperatures and high humidity. The temperature topped 100 degrees several times. It was hard to breathe. Remember - we work outside all day.

On Tuesday I left work a couple of times to walk over to the kids' pool and soak under the spray in the splash park. It was the only way I could keep my body temperature under control. Luckily the owner of the campground is really good about having cold bottled water available. The bike compound and gate shack - the two areas where we spend the most time - both have refrigerators full of bottled water, and we can go into the store to take a bottle out of the sales case at any time.

So do you wish you had done Alaska or Lake George again? :-)

BTW, just put Marty on a plane to Denver. She's spending five days with Janet Mahlman, who is undergoing serious treatment.

I don't know whether you have cell reception where you are. We left messages ~ a week ago.

Anyway, glad to be able to follow your blog. Be well.
